It has been documented that the development of oil and gas mines in Galicia began in 1810. Since 1861 mining has been conducted in an industrial way. Today, the western region of Ukraine is an important oil and gas base of the country. Since its inception, till now only over 210 billion cubic meters of natural gas have been extracted in the Lviv region. Zakhidnadraservis Company, continuing its traditions of industry development, conducts a full range of exploration, experimental development of gas fields and the supply of natural gas to final consumers.

Zakhidnadraservis group of companies was founded in 2008. Zakhidnadraservis is engaged in exploration, drilling and extraction of oil and natural gas in the territory of Western Ukraine.

Group on companies discover10 gas і 1 oil fields, drilled 56 wells, among them 44 productive wells are arranged and put into operation, 5 gas preparation plants and 1 oil collection and preparation station were built, more than 110 km of gas pipelines were laid, 16 successful overhauls of wells were made

Total daily production of natural gas within the group is 340 thousand cub.m, with planned increase by the end of 2019 to 500 thousand cub.m and the achievement of annual production 150 million. cub.m.
